DISTRICT SELECT SOCCER TRYOUTS
The District Select summer soccer program is a Massachusetts Youth Soccer program for players born from 1989-96. Top soccer players from across the Commonwealth form high-level teams for summer league and tournament play. This is not a club team, however, there are tryouts.

Two or three games are played per week on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons, in addition to at least one weekly training session.

Matches begin July 13 and conclude with a tournament on August 9 and 10.

Girls Tryouts will be held Sat. May 3 and Sat. May 17 from 5:15 to 8 p.m.
All candidates should wear a white shirt to tryouts and bring water and a soccer ball.
Saturday May 3 5:15 – 8:00 pm Frasca Field, Tewksbury
Saturday May 17 5:15 – 8:00 pm Thorndike Field, Arlington

The program costs $140 per player and includes a full kit: jersey, shorts, socks, t-shirt, and all field and referee fees. Scholarships are available for players in need.

2) If decision was made to cancel morning games only, field coordinator to make another call by 9:30 for afternoon games. If fields are determined to be unplayable, Field Coordinator to contact DD's by 9:45 and DD's are responsible for contacting their coaches who in-turn are responsible for contacting their away team, if applicable, by 10:00. 3) In situations where fields continue to deteriorate, the referee has final authority to declare a field unplayable at game time. (This is directly out of the BAYS 2001 Rulebook).
