LUSC contributes to internship with grassroots soccer program in Zambia
Lexington Resident and former youth soccer player Lena Forman (LHS '04) is currently spending a year in Lusaka, Zambia working with Grassroots Soccer; a nonprofit organization whose mission is to mobilize the global soccer community in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Their focus is on teaching youth to adopt healthy behaviors and empowering them to reach out to others in the community while using soccer as an educational tool.
